The Posse
JED
The Writer-Director (@jedpls)
Jed has been writing stories since she could hold a pencil, and telling stories since she could talk. Creatively schizophrenic, Jed is the human manifestation of the exclamation point (!) - always excited to talk films, characters and feelings. She creates with the passion of a woman on fire, and the sleep cycle to match. Jed aims to be a modern Renaissance Woman - never restricting herself in the roles she chooses to play. Which is why, besides her main arenas of writing and directing, Jed has stepped into the roles of producer, art director and editor.
Jed believes in the importance of connection and relationships, and how good writing (and directing) comes from the heart - with a soft spot for dialogue. She draws inspiration from the absurdity and comedy of real life, and is happiest when she’s creating worlds inside (and outside) her head.
TIM
The Director of Photography (@timmgoh)
Tim is the quieter half of this partnership, often found trying to be as silent and unobtrusive as possible while finding the frames, not #framez, that will draw you in. He captures images that create the invisible emotional connection between visuals and viewers. Having experience in both lighting and camera departments through narrative, documentary and commercials, Tim seeks to envelope viewers in the story through his perspectives.
A self-proclaimed person of simplicity (and avid fan of monochrome), Tim reflects that in his visuals - drawing attention to what matters the most. Within that, he believes, is where depth and complexity hide. What drives Tim in pursuit of evocative imagery are ultimately stories that resonate with him and - once captured - with others as well.
